When we pray, we talk to the Lord and discover His heart for us. Prayer to me is the most important aspect of Christian living. Many years later, you can see the joy they have as they are still working as missionaries. Add to that, Bram was interested in becoming a missionary. She knew immediately that this was the man she had been praying for. She soon discovered that Bram had accepted Jesus in his heart two years earlier. She prayed fervently and two years later met Bram. She told me how two years prior to meeting her husband, God put a desire in her heart to pray for the salvation of the man that she was going to marry. As I asked them to share their love story, Sarah told me that prayer was what brought Bram to her. Their love for God, each other, and the people around them is so evident. A beautiful couple that has been married for fifty years. I love when they tell me that it was God who brought them together. In a world of so many relationship choices, I have found that when couples consulted God and waited for Him to give them the go ahead, the result was a blessed marriage.It’s not that difficult to spot a couple that has a great relationship, especially if they are both doing what they love the most. I love hearing stories of how couples met and realized they were meant to be with each other forever.
